Join local community members, former Stixwould residents and members of the project team to explore local architecture, memories and the project to restore the village hall with teas, coffees and cake too!

Learn about the project being undertaken to restore the village hall for community use. Stixwould is the birthplace and childhood home of SAS founder member Major "Gentleman Jim" Almonds and he attended school at the village hall until the age of fourteen.
Have a look at the pop-up exhibition about his extraordinary life and the history of the village and school.
