The exhibition is on the first floor of the building and is accessible by stairs and a stair lift and a separate lift. The Thoresby Room is accessed from the Main room and the Bibliography passage from the New Room. Both doors open outwards and are 85cm wide. The floor in this room is level throughout.
To access our lift go to the door between Ann Summers and Cinnabon. Press the bell and ask to be admitted to the Exhibition. The lift is facing you at the end of the corridor. Take the lift to floor 1. Turn right on exiting the lift and go past the library counter to the Thoresby Room. Please sign the Visitors' Sheet and the Visitors Book if you are already a member of the Society.
