Stourbridge Quaker Meeting House is a Grade II Listed building built in 1689, and has remained in continuous use for Quaker Meetings and Gatherings ever since. It has undergone many restorations and additions such as the wheelchair accessible toilet, the lobby and kitchen area and a Children's Room, to continue serving its original purpose, since 2023 Silver Eco Church certificated!
Our visitors are welcome to explore it, or just sit and enjoy its peaceful atmosphere inside, or outside in our beautiful rewilded garden which used to be a Quaker burial ground.
A book about and photographs of our latest comprehensive 2012 restoration project will be on view, and for children visiting us there are games and a dolls play house and books in the Children's Room. As always, there will be light refreshments for everyone coming to visit us.
On Sunday 13th of September at 2.15pm only, our guests will be treated to a talk given by Kayleigh Davies, an auction specialist who has appeared as an expert on "Cash in the Attic" as well as being a regular media commentator, holding a consultant credit in Millers Antiques Handbook. Her talk will start with the honest simplicity of the Arts and Crafts Movement, and goes on to cover the wartime ingenuity of the Utility Scheme, the optimism of the of the 1951 Festival of Britain, and the FlatPack revolution. She will also explore the people and ideas making good designs available to everybody.

- By Public Transport: we are a 10 minute walk from the Bus and Train Interchange. From the end of High St by the clock tower, take a left towards the Tesco car park exit, cross the ring road at the traffic lights and see our blue signed Meeting House to your right. Pedestrian access is directly on to Scotts Rd with the Meeting House on your left. By car: from the ring road, take a left onto Enville Street, turn right after the pedestrian lights onto Forge Street and first right again onto Scotts Road. Accessibility details
