Stretford Public Hall Open Day
Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford, Greater Manchester, M32 0LG
Join us for a day of discovery, conversation, and community as we open the doors to explore the rich history and exciting future of the hall.
Free guided tours of the building will run throughout the day—come and explore hidden corners, learn about the hall’s fascinating past, and hear what’s planned for its future.
Film screenings in the Old Library will share stories and moments from the hall’s long and vibrant history.
Tea party in the Ballroom – enjoy refreshments and share your memories with us. We’d love to hear about your personal connections to the hall and the many communities who’ve used it over the past 150 years.
Talks by local historians will bring the hall’s story to life.
Memory archive project – we're looking for people to contribute their stories, photos, and memories of the hall to help preserve its legacy.
Children’s craft activities will be available to keep little ones entertained while you explore.
Whether you’re curious about the building, interested in volunteering, or just fancy a cuppa and a chat, everyone’s welcome!
