Come along and learn about the history of Stricklandgate House and what are future ambitions look like.

Stricklandgate House has a fascinating history. It is a Grade II Listed building and an outstanding example of Georgian architecture with many of its original features remaining intact. Beyond its architectural value, through the ages Stricklandgate House has had a rich and varied history and a significant influence on the town. Come along and learn a bit more about about this fascinating history at our drop in event.

Stricklandgate House Trust has recently been awarded a significant National Lottery Heritage Fund grant and we will share with you our plans to protect our wonderful building and our ambitions for the future.

Please note, we cant provide parking, but there is plenty nearby. Wheelchair access via the rear vestibule. Stepped front entrance. Accessible toilet on site

There will be limited access to the whole building as it is working building. Kendal Civic Society's exhibition on the history of Kendal available to view. Displays about our future plans.
