Strongroom tours at Bristol Archives
Bristol Archives, B Bond Warehouse, Smeaton Road, Bristol, Gloucestershire, BS1 6XN
Bristol Archives is home to millions (no exaggeration) of documents – written records, photographs, maps, films and sound recordings – made by and about the people of Bristol over hundreds of years. From 12th century parchment documents to 21st century digital records we look after the stories of the city and make them available for everyone to view in our searchroom.
Once a year we open our strongrooms to free tours so you can find out more about our work and collections. As well as tours we'll also have a number of other activities at B Bond on Saturday 7 September: you can visit our searchroom and foyer exhibitions which will be celebrating our 100th birthday, view footage from our extensive film collections or chat to members of the Bristol & Avon Family History Society who can help you with your family history research.
Please note that our searchroom will not be open for research on the day.
