The Society uses the buildings on site for all forms of archaeological research available to a volunteer run charity. Visitors are welcome to browse the library holdings including journals, newsletters and pamphlets. The library volunteers are busy cataloguing the postcard collection, a donation of aerial photographs and maps and those involved will be happy to talk about this. This old school building is also used by specialist groups of the Society to study pottery and flint objects in particular. Some of those present are planning a new project to create a Roman style garden on unused ground.
