Taplow Court, a mid 19th-century mansion set high above the Thames near Maidenhead, and its grounds will be open to the public from 1230-1700 on Sunday 14th September, 2025.

To celebrate Heritage Open Days, Taplow Court will be open to the public for free. On Sunday, 14th September, you may picnic in the 85 acres of ground, and Taplow Court House will be open for visitors. The house will be open between 1400 and 1700.

A LIFE DEDICATED TO PEACE - Exhibition in the main house will be celebrating the life of Daisaku Ikeda (1928-2023), Buddhist philosopher, peacebuilder, educator, author and poet, who dedicated his life to fostering a lasting culture of peace through dialogue.

Steeped in history, since 1989 Taplow Court has been the national headquarters for the socially-engaged Buddhist movement Soka Gakkai International-UK (SGI-UK). Cream teas will also be available from 1400.
