The history of the little known Dover Promenade Pier. The earlier but unsuccessful pleasure pier schemes for Dover will also be shown, and we will touch upon some of the other seafront attractions in Dover during the life of the Promenade Pier. We will also talk about the origins of the seaside pleasure pier and where else they were built in Kent.
