The Cartoon Museum is dedicated to preserving the best of British cartoons, caricatures, comics and animation. Our museum, gallery, archives and innovative exhibitions make the creativity of cartoon art, past and present, accessible to all for the purposes of education, research and enjoyment. From Gillray to the present day, our collection showcases 300+ years of the wit, satire, and influence of British cartoons. Visitors will also have free entry to our special exhibition, 'Does my head look BIG in this? The art of portrait caricature.' Children are welcome, but please note tours are designed for an adult audience.

The Museum has step free access via a lift as well as step free access throughout the galleries and accessible toilet with a baby change. We have ear defenders for use with the hand dryers and sensory backpacks.
Visitors will have free entry to the Museum's permanent and temporary gallery on the day in addition to the tour.
