This talk traces the changes to the working lives of those living in rural Moor Allerton in the 19th century.

Jane Abramson has researched many of the lives of those buried in the churchyard of St John's (1853). After her talk there will be an opportunity to have a leisurely walk round the churchyard to discover some of the people who feature in her talk; who they were, where they lived and what they did for a living.
