The area of the Black Country now known as Sandwell was known in the Industrial revolution for heavy industry. But out of the smoke and grime there were people producing beautiful decorative items such as stained-glass, studio pottery, enamels and paintings. This exhibition showcases these beautiful items made in what is now Sandwell.

Wednesbury Museum is on Holyhead Road, on the outskirts of the town centre - opposite the bus station and a 10 minute walk from the metro. There is a pay and display car park next to the museum

There is a platform lift to the first floor and the accessible toilet is in the first floor corridor. There are Blue Badge parking spots in the car park next to the museum.
