Grade 11 listed offering CAMRA beers

The Ormskirk Farmer's Club is in the grade 11 listed former Dispensary at 65 Burscough Street, Ormskirk, L39 2EL. The members only Club was established in 1896 and initially was housed in the Town's Corn Exchange on Moor Street. It was relocated to the vacant Dispensary building in 1898. The Dispensary building was built in 1830 and up to the building of the Cottage Hospital in 1896, handled around 1000 patients a year.
The building will be open to non-members to call in and see the large array of memorabilia commemorating 130 years of sporting achievements amongst the members. The interior architecture is stunning and there will be an opportunity to buy a drink from the well stocked award winning range of beers and to potentially become a member of the club. The open event will be on Saturday 12th and Saturday 19th September from 12pm until 11pm.
