Calling all Kings, Queens and Knights of the Realm, Come and create some majestic medieval arts and crafts, Inspired by Chapelfield Garden's past as a medieval Jousting ground!

Date: Saturday 12th September 2026
Time: 10am-12:30pm

Across a 2.5 hour open session, families will be encouraged to make Medieval inspired arts and crafts, to commemorate Chapelfield Garden's exhilarating history as jousting tournament ground!

The activities that will be on offer will include:
1. Making and Decorating your own Shield
2. Making and Decorating your own Crown and Princess Hats (Known as a Hennin)
3. Making and Decorating your own Horse Puppet (Every Knight needs a steed!)
4. Strut your stuff for your loyal subjects in our photobooth fit for royalty!

Participants are invited to come and engage with the session at any time within the 2.5 hours,
And are encouraged to spend as little or long as they like (whether than be for 10 minutes or an hour).
