The Ghost's Stories.

Our volunteer Tour Guide Adam will remind us that before the Ghost was a person, and give an insight into who Brother Pacificus was and his daily working life, and share the details of Brother Essric - Also known as the Traitor Monk.
The two stories could not be bigger in contrast, and Adam will bring their personalities to life, we will come to understand more about their human lives, the work they did, and why they remain a presence at St Benet's Abbey.

Directions:

The site can be accessed from Hall Road/Hall Common Road and has a finger signpost at the top of the track leading to the Abbey. This is a working farm track about 1 mile long, travel with care to reach the car park at the bottom. St Benet's Abbey also has public moorings on the River Bure just a few yards from the site.

Accessibility details

This is a scheduled heritage monument, the surfaces are uneven and sturdy shoes are recommended. There are no facilities on site, however, the Dog Pub is a short distance away where you can buy refreshments and food and comes recommended.
