Visit Stratford-upon-Avon Library’s historic building and see our special local history display on life during the Second World War

Material from the collection will reflect aspects of the history of life in Stratford and the surrounding area and may include information about evacuees, Prisoners of War, rationing, air raids an other associated themes. If you have a family story, or photographs about life in Warwickshire during this time please let staff know as we would like to add them to our collection for others to share.

The library also has an online countywide display for those who are unable to visit a library in person, and for those interested in Warwickshire's history during World War II. Please copy and paste the link below into your browser.
