The Life and Times of the Fisher Theatre

To mark 20 years since our re-opening, this exhibition explores the Fisher’s colourful history, from its early days as part of David Fisher’s ambitious Theatre Circuit, its closure, alternative uses and demise. Happily in 2006 it was rescued and experienced a wonderful renaissance, and over the last two decades has become the thriving venue that it is today, back in its place at the very heart of the community.
