The Living Type of Ralph Beyer

This exhibition celebrates the lively character of Ralph Beyer’s engraving, as seen in Coventry Cathedral’s iconic Tablets of the Word. Embark on a visual journey through the artist’s craft, working life, and lasting influence on stone letter carving, culminating in the creation of Coventry’s own distinctive font.

Linocut Letterpress workshops will take place on Saturday 12th September and at various times throughout the exhibition.
