A chance to see what has been discovered in this joint project, taking a walk through the everyday heroes of the historic Middlegate area in the heart of Great Yarmouth.

Delivered in partnership between Great Yarmouth Shoebox and the Great Yarmouth Salvation Army, this community exhibition will explore the lives, memories and contributions of the ordinary people who helped shape Middlegate and the wider town through the years.

The exhibition will feature photographs, memories, voices, documents and objects collected from members of the community, celebrating local stories and hidden histories connected to Middlegate.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the developing archive, share memories and discover the social history of this historic area of Great Yarmouth.
