Aylesbury's own Unbound Theatre have been tasked with presenting an informative dramatized history of the town. Unfortunately, they fell out over how best to do it. However, some of the team are pressing ahead regardless, and are certain that the others won't mess around. Well, when they say "certain"...
This hour-long walking performance blends real historical facts about Aylesbury Town Centre with a light-hearted play all about taking pride in your home town's history
Starting at: the corner of St Mary's Square and Nelson Terrace, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 2JJ
One area of the route, the Kings Head thoroughfare, is cobbled and quite uneven which could be an accessibility issue. Walking via Kingsbury is suggested as an alternative route between the third and fourth scenes. Another area of the route, down the hill between the Exchange and Waterside Theatre, is a fairly steep hill which could cause accessibility issues. Walking via Waterside North is suggested as an alternative route between the sixth and seventh scenes.
Please note that the walking play takes place throughout the streets of Aylesbury Town Centre, including businesses and residencies.
