The Rest House
Bournville Village Green, Bournville, Birmingham, West Midlands, B30 1JT
The design of the Rest House is taken from a medieval butter market in Dunster, Somerset and recreated in his own style by architect William Alexander Harvey, as part of the garden village of Bournville.
This year, the Rest House will house Icons & Instigators, an exhibition celebrating 10 women who have helped shape Bournville and the surrounding areas. The exhibition brings together objects from the Roger Cadbury library and archive to highlight the work of women and their impact in the local community.
This event is part of Bournville Heritage Open Day 2026 where over a dozen local historic sites will open their doors for free, with tours, activities, exhibitions and much more!
