Our peaceful Iron Age ancestors are about to get a serious wake-up call, and we need your family to come and see the action! Whether you want to side with the local Celtic tribes or train to become a Roman soldier, there is a piece of living history waiting for every little warrior.
What to Expect
Meet the Legion: Get up close and personal with fully armored Roman soldiers. Touch the heavy shields, see the gleaming swords, and find out what life was really like on the frontline.
Kid’s Roman School Room: Think your little ones have what it takes to pass Roman school? Let them try out some Roman numerals mathematics.
Discover local history: Explore how the local Iron Age tribes lived right here in Hampshire before the Romans arrived.
Best of all? It’s completely FREE! As part of Heritage Open Days, entry to the event and won’t cost you a single denarius!
