Discover the story of Dunstable Windmill and the Sea Cadets this HODs. Throughout the day, there will be continuous tours, talks, and information.

Join us at Dunstable Windmill and hear about the Admiral Sir Lionel George Preston, KCB, who lived in Dunstable and served his country in two world wars, together with the linked Naval Heritage.

On your visit, you will also see the Cadets in action. In 1942, the Admiralty granted the unit official recognition. Hear all about the Dunstable Sea Cadets, who aim to provide young people with an experience that will help them grow into the person they aspire to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty, and how to be the best version of ourselves. We help young people create unforgettable memories.
