The Ship Without Sails
Sea Cadets Dunstable The Old Mill, West Street, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU6 1N
Join us at Dunstable Windmill and hear about the Admiral Sir Lionel George Preston, KCB, who lived in Dunstable and served his country in two world wars, together with the linked Naval Heritage.
On your visit, you will also see the Cadets in action. In 1942, the Admiralty granted the unit official recognition. Hear all about the Dunstable Sea Cadets, who aim to provide young people with an experience that will help them grow into the person they aspire to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty, and how to be the best version of ourselves. We help young people create unforgettable memories.
Something for everyone – we look forward to welcoming you to the Ship Without Sails. Refreshments will be available throughout the day
