Join Storyteller Mike Dodsworth on an investigation into the prominence of Witch Trials and the ruthless execution of women found guilty for the crime of witchcraft in Chelmsford during the 16th and 17th centuries. To broaden the historical context of these events, Mike will be delving into the world of literature and folklore to assist in our understanding of these trials that took place, so expect to find a balance of contemporary historical accounts with readings, tellings and excerpts from authors and traditional folktales.
