Garden Party: Open Day

This Heritage Open Day, we’re celebrating our Mansion House home with a day of entertaining, crafts and good food. This year, the theme of Everyday Histories will be woven into all aspects of the day from exhibitions of the history of the Mansion House to Shared Reading connecting to those who lived in the house. There will also be heritage crafts and family workshops.
Pull up a chair or lay out your picnic blanket as we share poetry and stories at our Library on the Lawn.
The beautiful Mansion House Garden will be open from 11am–5pm, and we'll have the BBQ fired up, the bar fully stocked and delicious Cheshire Farm ice cream. Many activities will take place outdoors, so we recommend bringing waterproofs and / or sun cream depending on the weather.
