Create your own designer inspired bookmark and learn about flappers and titfers. A C&TA drop in session for all ages and abilities with a 1920s theme to celebrate the centenary of the Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell.

The Costume and Textile Association invites you to call in any time between 10am and 2pm to a drop-in workshop session celebrating Norwich in the 1920s. Fashion designer and lecturer Stephen Worth has created some special bookmarks inspired by hat and shoemakers working in the city. You can colour yours in, or collage it, or you could appliqué it using a vintage sewing machine. This workshop is suitable for all ages.

Accessibility details

The Museum of Norwich is fully accessible. There is a platform lift from the main entrance (street level) to the ground floor where the reception, ticket desk and shop are located. It is 86cm by 146cm with a maximum weight limit of 300kg. A hearing loop is installed at the reception. A second lift within the museum provides access to all levels of the museum. It is 109cm by 148cm with a maximum weight limit of 410kg. We cannot accommodate large motorised scooters; however we do have a wheelchair on site.
