Tour of the Alpine Club Collections
55 Charlotte Road, London, Greater London, EC2A 3QF
A tour of the Alpine Club library showing highlights from the club's collection relating to mountaineering from 1857 onwards.
This will include a history of the club as well as an opportunity to handle some items from the collections. It will be given by the current librarian, Emma McDonald. There will also be an opportunity to view the club's current exhibition as well.
This is a rare opportunity to see a collection usually only visited by club members and researchers and hear a little about the fascinating history of the world's first Alpine Club.
