Learn about the original design and wildlife of the first Garden Cemetery to be established in England. It is believed to be based on the Pere Le Chaise cemetery in Paris, the work of John Loudon and the Victorian enthusiasm for Arboretums.

Join us for a gentle afternoon walk as we discover and learn about some of the the Rosary Cemetery's many species and its award winning bio-diversity.

Directions:
Vehicular and pedestrian access is from Rosary Road just before its junction with the Thorpe Road by way of a private road adjacent to the Canary Club. Pedestian access can also be gained from Telegraph Road East just opposite Lion Wood.

The site is terraced but all areas are accessible by wheelchairs, prams and pushchairs. Toilets are available but have two steps to access.
