The National Football Museum's Preston-based Research and Archive Centre will be open to the public, with the offer to look around and try out some engagement activities.

The Research and Archive Centre at NFM's former site will be open to the public over heritage open week. Visitors will have the opportunity to:

- Access the site
- Have a tour of the stores
- Explore some items linked to Tom Finney and his sporting career
- Learn about and handle some of the items in the stores
- Learn about the community work carried out at the site and across Preston and Lancashire
- Partake in some fun, and creative activities
