Towcester Town Heritage Walk

Starting and finishing here at the Mill, there are two start times to choose from - 12.30pm and 2.30pm. This guided walk will take you to places you have might have passed without recognising their significance in the town’s past. Plus, some of the people who left their imprint within the town, for example The King of Naples and Sicily and Charles Dickens. There are numerous hidden historical gems here in Towcester and this is your chance to find out more!

- Towcester Mill Brewery is tucked down Chantry Lane right at the bottom of the lane. From the middle of town, go past the Town Hall and St Lawrence Church, both of which should be on your right as you walk down the lane.

Accessibility details
The walk will take place along flat hard surface paths and pavements, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. The route should be accessible for wheelchairs. The distance will be approx 2 miles.
Additional information
The walks will start at 1230pm and 1430. The Tap Room opens at 12pm on the day. There will be food available from local street food vendor, Moo Hatch from 12pm.
