Town Hall Open Day - Fun for all the Family

The Town Hall is a historic building, parts of which date from the 15th Century, with a magnificent Renaissance staircase dating from 1600. There are many paintings of note which have been catalogued in a book called "Lewes Town Hall Pictures" which will be available for sale alongside the "Civic Insignia and Plate" book. The magnificent Assembly Room, which is used for concerts, civic events, and many other occasions, will be available to view alongside the oak-panelled Council Chamber and the Mayor's Parlour.
