A talk and guided tour with our fantastic volunteer Kate.

This talk will consider both the parish church and the abbey in the hamlet of Easby, North Yorkshire, as a pair of linked establishments over the period 1000 to 1550. It will be a ‘walk and talk’ looking at what stands today while considering the history that has passed.

Directions:
Access: Parts of the site are uneven and can become muddy. There are steps and stairs within the ruins. Parking: The car park is signposted and is off the B6271. The abbey is next to the car park. Please consider donating £1 or £2 to St Agatha's Church. Facilities: Nearby Richmond Castle has a shop and toilets - It is around a 1.5 mile walk from Easby. Richmond town has public toilets and a range of places to eat and drink.
