Victoria Hall - Glossop: Talks and Displays

We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the unique architecture and history of this Grade II listed building, now used for community, Arts, social and fund raising events.

We work in partnership with various groups and organisations in the Glossop area including Glossop Heritage Trust, Dark Peak Music Foundation, Glossop Old Band, The Melandra Project, Glossop Arts Project. This will be our 6th year of participating in the Heritage Open Days events and we hope to be able to enable you to visualise the plans for our phased refurbishment.

We have talks on local history, genealogy and children's art exhibition. We hope that these events attract people from far and wide, people who know the iconic building and people who will visit for the first time and be 'wowed' like everyone else who comes to the Hall. We get amazing feedback about how welcoming, comfortable and friendly we are and we are very proud to share our fantastic community asset with you.

There is on street parking and access is easy - there is a ramp to the door. Unfortunately no accessible toilet.

Although we are accessible for entry into the building, we do not have accessible toilets - this is our priority in the refurbishment
