The Old Castle was a Fifteenth Century house of high status. By Victorian times it was divided up into five tenanted cottages. This is an exhibition and guided tour exploring what life was like here. The current Manor House is Grade 1 Listed.

The five cottages shared a single cold water tap and three outside lavatories. The event focuses on the Robinsons. He was a carter and she ran a cyclists cafe and took in boarders. There is opportunity for children to dress as Victorians. They will be able to make pictures to help them record their experience. There will be some Victorian toys and creative chalks to play with in the courtyard.
