Viking Open day @ Conisbrough Castle

Once again Conisbrough Castle will be throwing open the doors for our annual event as part of the Heritage Open Day festival. Many activities are still to be announced but we are very happy to host our friends from Sudjorvik Living History group to help us bring history alive.

Directions:

Parking around the castle is limited. Please be aware that "Castle Car park" on Low Road is privately owned, ANPR controlled and payment is by App only. There is a bus stop (X21 and X3) right outside the castle and Conisbrough railway station is 0.5 mile from the site. There is limited accessible parking onsite.

Accessibility details

The Visitor Center is accessible to wheelchairs. The path to the Inner Bailey has a steep slope. The keep is only accessible by stairs.
