A walk around the village taking in some of the Blue Plaque houses and some places with WW2 stories

The walk will last approximately 2 hours and visit places connected with WW2 and blue plaque homes. Mostly on narrow pavements and some footpaths where the ground many be uneven. The walk starts from the garden of The Beck which was the home of Admiral Moore and opposite the Thatched House which was the school for the Woolwich Evacuees. The Beck is at the junction of Mill Lane and Tonbridge Road. There is no parking in Mill Lane but cars can park on the Tonbridge Road and in the layby at the church.

Village pavements are narrow so care should be taken at all times. A track may be used and depending on weather may be a little difficult to use.

For safety reasons as pavements are narrow maximum number on walk will be restricted to 20 people
