Discover stories about the Victorians in Willingale. Take a stroll along The Street and see where they lived and worked. The variety of trades was such that the village was almost self-sufficient.

The beautiful C14th church of St. Christopher's will be decorated with specially themed floral displays reflecting the lives of the villagers plus arrangements for Harvest Festival. Visitors can participate in church tours to discover hidden curiosities and find out about the ancient art of bellringing.

Willingale is unique in Essex having two churches in one churchyard. The atmospheric C13th Church of St Andrew's features a display commemorating the local WWII Airfield.

Enjoy tea/coffee and homemade cakes served from a marquee situated in the tranquil churchyard overlooking the beautiful Roding Valley. There will be a stall selling local produce, homemade preserves, honey, etc

Willingale celebrates Harvest Festival with a service on Sunday morning to which everyone is welcome.

This attractive village, located on the Essex Way, is renowned for its picturesque walks.
