Walk through time at Mitcheldean

Mitcheldean Community Library, High Street, Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire, GL17 0HN

  • 20 Sep 2025
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

A conducted walk around the heart of Mitcheldean will shed light on the past of this community. Walk starts and ends at the community library and includes the historic Town Hall and Church.

Mitcheldean was a typical gathering place for a very rural area until British Acoustic Films made their centre there, later changing to Rank Xerox. At the time of Rank Xerox more than 4,500 people were employed in what is now known at Vantage Point. Our leisurely stroll will begin and end at the library and explore the history of the village including the Town Hall and Church.
