Walter D Crick was an early member of the Northamptonshire Natural History Society Geology section. We take this opportunity to look at his life and contribution to science. Talk by Bob Purser.

Walter Drawbridge Crick (1857-1903) was an early member of the Society's Geology section. He was a businessman, palaeontologist and conchologist, a student then colleague of Beeby Thompson he went on to correspond with Charles Darwin and his grandson was the Cambridge molecular biologist, Francis Crick. Bob Purser will introduce his life, his contribution to science and there will be an opportunity to look at his fossil and micro-fossil collection.
