Weaver Hall Museum Memory Boxes

Memory boxes are a tangible and heartfelt way to preserve, celebrate and cherish your memories.
General materials will be provided but please bring along your own memories to add to the boxes. You could include:
- Photographs from over the decades
- Key documents / photocopies of birth certificates etc
- Three-dimensional memorabilia such as earrings, sports medals, etc
- Newspaper cuttings
- Personal items from holidays / anniversaries
- Stamps from letters
- Letters / communications
- Threads and fabrics from a loved one’s clothes
Please note this activity is drop-in but you may wish to spend a couple of hours creating and reminiscing.
This activity is also running at Grosvenor Museum on Tuesday 15 September between 11am-4pm.

Enjoy free admission to the Museum on Saturday 19 September 2-4.30pm only. The building will be open as usual throughout Heritage Open Days but Museum charges will apply.
