What Does it Mean to Live with the Sea ?
Berwick Town Hall, Marygate, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, TD15 1BN
How do we live with the sea? What memories, stories and objects connect us to the North Sea coast? Join artists Mary O’Neill and Paul Stewart in this workshop exploring these themes. The “gifts from the sea” made from paper, willow and bamboo during the workshop can become part of the film itself. The workshop is funded through SHED and the Cinematic Meet-up. This session is part of a broader series of screenings and workshops happening across the northeast coastline at Tees Valley Arts in Redcar and Seaton Delaval Hall in Seaton Sluice developing a new collaborative film about the present experiences of the north sea and coastal living.
This event is run by "The Burr", part of the Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival all year round offering in Berwick.
