An exhibition at the Carriage Works and a tour with conservation architects, Donald Insall Associates, will explore the past, present and future of Swindon’s historic environment.

Discover the process behind the conservation of the Carriage Works building and the Cricketers Arms, and gain insight into ongoing works to restore the local landmark, Swindon Health Hydro. Take a look behind the scenes of these projects, with drawings, interactive displays and meet Chris Bell, the conservation architect involved in all three projects.

Accessibility details

Access to the space is via the pavement on London Street. Access from the pavement is level into the event, but the building is a Grade II-listed property and has brick paver flooring that is not a perfectly even surface.
