Winchester On Parade - WMM Big Open Day

On Saturday 20th September Winchester Military Museums will be hosting our Big Open Day 2025! Held at the historic Peninsula Barracks, there's fun for all the family.
From 1000 until 1600, join us for a free, fun-filled day, featuring 6 museums, re-enactors, The Rifles' Band, food & drinks stalls, historical-based activities, crafts, face painting and more. This is the only day of the year where all 6 museums are open for free, with both inside and outdoor activities.

Accessibility details
There is no on-site parking. The event is primarily held outside the Peninsula Barracks buildings, but there is wheelchair access to all museums, as well as accessible toilets on site. Dogs are welcome outside, but not inside the museums.
