Withington Conservation Area Walk
Manchester Cancer Research Centre, 555 Wilmslow Road, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M20 4GJ
The walk will commence from Withington Green outside the Manchester Cancer Research Building and tell the story of Withington’s rise from rural village into the thriving suburb we know today. We will talk about personalities that have shaped the area from lords of the manor, coach-builders, composers and champion swimmers. The walk on Sunday 20th includes guided tours of the interiors of St. Cuthbert's Catholic Church, St. Paul's parish church and Withington Baths.
