Worcester Dissenters' Way

The tour is led by Annette Leech, a local historian and independent researcher with a particular interest in the non-conformist history of Worcester. Annette is a trustee of the Worcestershire & Dudley Historic Churches Trust, author of 'Worcester Quaker Walk' and with Tim Bridges, 'The Churches and Chapels of the City of Worcester'. More recently she collaborated with Pat Hughes to write a detailed book 'The Story of Worcester'.
The tour will start and finish at St Andrew's Methodist Church, and will include a look at buildings and sites associated with the Methodists, Baptists, Congregationalists, Presbyterians and Quakers around the city centre, exploring stories from the 17th century to the present day.
