Working Lives: Oral History Project

The Oral History Project has interviewed retired employees of two prominent engineering firms in Newbury, Plenty and Elliotts and also the Kennet and Avon canal. The interviews are being transcribed.
1200 - Dave Clow will give a talk on the Chapel's 1875 stained glass window 'The Resurrection' by Heaton, Butler and Bayne.
1400 - Ros Clow will lead a tour of the graves who worked of nurses, midwives, dentists, vets and doctors - 'Medical Matters'.
1500 - David Clow will demonstrate the Turboscribe software being used to transcribe interviews of the Oral History Project.
There will be displays supplied by interviewees!
