World of Stories - High Heritage: Roots and Creativity
Peterborough Cathedral, Minister Precincts, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE1 1XS
A beautiful and lively display of textiles, cloth and tshirt designs using and inspired by a selection of African printing techniquess. Through a series of creative workshops, young people will create designs inspired with words reflecting how young people see their own identity in the city today.
This contemporary work will be displayed within the Cathedral spaces and provide an opportunity for conversations about personal identity and the importance of keeping roots alive.
