Temporary Museum with Wragby History

An exciting initiative to create a pop-up museum for the town of Wragby opens on Saturday 21st June. A partnership between the Wragby Heritage Group, and East Lindsey District Council and Lincolnshire County Council has enabled the Wragby Heritage Group’s ambition of a museum in the town.
The museum has taken over a vacant shop in the town centre and turned it into a vibrant display of the town’s fascinating past. It is hoped the museum will encourage more people to visit the town and make full use of the shops and eating places while they are there.
From the archaeological evidence for the Roman settlement which once stood here through the appearance of Wragby in the Domesday Book to the transformation caused by the coming of the railways this small town has a big story to tell. Now you can find out more about Wragby’s role in the history of Lincolnshire.
