Wrest Park from above - Walk and Talk

The walk will take you along the outskirts of Wrest Park up a gentle hill where you can get stunning views over the beautiful mansion and grounds. Our guide will fill you in on the history of Wrest Park and the surrounding countryside pointing out all the best features and providing you with a fascinating insight into the De Grey family who lived here, Wrest Park's role as an army hospital in the First World War and its more recent past as an agricultural institute at the forefront of agricultural innovation. The walk will be at a leisurely pace and will take around 90 minutes covering a couple of miles. It's suitable for pushchairs and dogs.

Once you have arrived at Wrest Park please use the Visitor Car Park for Wrest Park and the meet your guide outside the 'Eagle Gate'. Meet and Greet Volunteers will be on site to assist.

There is blue badge parking in the visitor car park and access to the visitor toilets. The meeting point is by the visitor entrance gate. Please ask staff for assistance.
