Pulborough Signal Box, The Rail Station and related Buildings
You will see inside the newly restored & listed Signal Box, how this period station has changed little since 1900 despite the loss of the onsite Cattle Market and the related buildings with the rising use of the motor car.

Pulborough Heritage Visitor Centre “Swan Corner”
The Visitor Centre has slide-shows and leaflets of Swan Corner History and the other Pulborough 2025 Heritage Sites from around 1900 together with a five-metre-long model of the Railway Station and Shunting Yard as in 1910.

The visit is to the garden of the early 1700’s house. The visit tells and shows you about the history of the garden and house which is told through the occupants who have created and changed it and something of their lives.

An event for all the family - you start at the Macklins visitor centre with a number heritage displays, then follow two led trails. The first to reveal/show the history of ten riverside sites and the second to visit three Iconic buildings.

The visit is to an amazing eco-friendly, 21st century house and garden built on a difficult site. The self-built house was the subject of a “Grand Designs” television programme and architectural awards.
